Earlier stories

The original wardrobes and the stories behind them.

Inside the archive

The archive keeps Velcourne’s earlier numbered edits together, from the original Camel wardrobe to the Blazer Edit. Each one stays with its styling notes and, where there is one, its original film, so the thinking behind a look is never lost when the shopping changes.

Edit 01, the Camel Edit, is where the wardrobe begins: a camel coat, a cream shirt and forest trousers. Edit 02, the Forest Edit, sets forest green against cream, with a defined waist and brown accessories, a quieter way to bring contrast in. Edit 03, the Knit Edit, works in cream, camel and taupe around one expressive cable-knit texture, a long trouser line and a camel coat over the shoulders.

Edit 04, the Barrel Edit, is built on one unexpected shape: a curved barrel trouser with a fitted ivory turtleneck and a slim belt to mark the waist. Edit 05, the Scarf Edit, lets a long camel scarf, worn loose over forest and ivory, change familiar pieces. Edit 06, the Espresso Edit, is one colour head to toe, chocolate on chocolate, with a single chain as the accent. Edit 07, the Blazer Edit, asks the blazer to do the coat’s job over ivory.

Shopping for the first three edits is still being prepared, so their pages show the look, the angles and the film while the selection is refined. Further down, archived looks are kept when a featured piece is no longer available from the linked offer; the Green Cashmere Edit, for example, was archived after its featured knit was found unavailable on Amazon on 8 October 2026. Other pieces in an archived look may still be available.
